Because of our central position you have the ideal starting point to discover the oldest university town of Germany on foot. You can reach the Heidelberg castle with its big barrel, the pharmacy museum and the wonderful park area in only 15 minutes walking.

The Philosophenweg is a famous foot-path described by many poets. You have a wonderful view all over the old city of Heidelberg. To get there you have to cross the Old Bridge, then turn to the left and walk up the "Schlangenweg". Make sure to wear walking-shoes.
