The famous English garden, culture centers like the opera and the residence can be attained in few minutes.
For culture friends the Pinakothek stands completely above on the list. For technique fans is the German museum must.
Trip-Tip from the hotel keeper:
"I suggest the beer garden at the Chinese tower in Munich. There the Bavarian hospitality goes along with spare time and amusement. The beer garden is in the midle of the English Garden and you can arrive by foot from our hotel. On warm summer days the Chinese tower is the meeting place for many munich people. My tip: On your way to the beer garden you should make a stop on the bridge at the river "Eisbach" to watch the surfer in Munich.
In 1972 the Olympic Games took place in Munich. Today the impressive Olympic park, the Olympic stadium, the Olympic tower and the Olympic natatorium shape the city culture of Munich. Pragmatically the Munich people have also named the Oly (Discotheque in the Olympic city - once the housing of the Olympian, today used a student dormotory) and Olympic mall after it Olympic Games. My tip: The tent roof tour on the roof of the Olympic stadium or the open-air-cinema at the olympic lake in summer time.
My favorite part is the east of Munich: The big exhibition hall in a smal district named Tudering, the BUGA Lake and the following area for recreation. There you can relax and let it all hang out. And for the bargain hunters I suggest the antique junble sale in Keferloh on every first Sunday of every month. ..."
Kind regards and see you soon in Munich
